Before moving to Florida in 2010 to “play with hurricanes”, Greg Becker spent 30 years in law enforcement, emergency management, and the fire service in upstate New York.  He has led emergency response and management organizations and responses in the non-profit, consulting, and government sectors in the US and abroad. Greg holds Florida Professional Emergency Manager, Florida Master Instructor, Certified Public Manager, and Certified Disaster Program Manager credentials, and was named the 2004 NYS Fire Chief of the Year. He serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff A3/Operations and mission pilot for the Florida Wing of the US Air Force Auxiliary/CAP, and is a qualified Incident Commander and Liaison Officer with State of Florida and USAFA/CAP incident management teams.
