As a Smith Myers Value Added Reseller Croix International is integrating a full range of multi-role airborne qualified cellular handset geolocation equipment for Search & Rescue, Disaster Relief, Maritime Patrol, and Border Patrol missions.    
The Artemis System is a range of award-winning cellular handset detection, location & communication systems developed specifically for the challenging environment of Search and Rescue (SAR) and Disaster Relief Operations. Taking the Search out of Search and Rescue, Artemis allows your team to accurately and automatically locate handsets of persons in distress from the air and/or the ground with an extended range (30+ KM) as well as being able to communicate with them via voice calls or text messages. Our system is designed to seamlessly integrate into existing avionics, enabling smooth operation with cameras mounted on helicopters.  
At Smith Myers they design and produce all of their own hardware in-house, including their own Software Defined Radios to cover all global cellular frequencies and technologies. They also write the software protocol stacks starting from a clean sheet which allows them to uniquely tailor and optimize the capability for airborne use. Unlike our competitors, they do not buy in and repurpose any commercial hardware or software.
