Eugene Karl Montoya A. is currently a climate risk and coastal resilience finance expert having developed sizeable experience in the public and private sectors of institutional finance over the past 22 years. As a very active board member with Waterfront Alliance, Eugene leads the sustainable blue economy initiatives including the Coastal Resilience Partnership with United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR)'s ARISE US private sector network. Eugene primarily works with public and private sector clients focused on climate solutions in the mitigation (i.e., GHG-focused) as well as adaptation & resilience (i.e., weatherization, disaster-resilient design, scarcity management) verticals. He has been a featured speaker, panelist, and moderator across the international system most recently at UNFCCC COP 29 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
