Major Ethan Frizzell, currently the Area Commander for The Salvation Army in Lee, Henry, Glade Counties, has been an officer of The Salvation Army for 27 years. Major Frizzell is a vibrant follower of Christ. For 15 years, Major Frizzell has focused on reducing the days of homelessness experienced, resulting in narrative and behavioral resourcing. Major Frizzell has been successful in directly creating system level change in Sarasota and Nashville. Creating a focus on life navigation coaching, Major Frizzell encourages systems to increase hospitality, self-determination, and safe, attainable, and sustainable housing. Major Frizzell achieved a master’s degree in public administration at Harvard University. Most recently, Major Frizzell has given guidance to WellSky in the creation of LIFNAV Connect. LIFNAV Connect is the first nationally available end-user mobile app that encourages self-resolution to housing problems. Additionally, Major Frizzell is recognized as a Catalyst Advisor for the American Enterprise Institute and the Good Neighbors Index. The challenge to AEI was to create a predictive platform that allows communities to strengthen resilience for planned housing shortages. Ethan has been married for 27 years to Sue Frizzell. Together they enjoy their two granddaughters, Jacklyn and Faye, gifts from their two children. Major Frizzell will use creative conflict to disturb the present in negotiating the future
