Riley Tuff is a Lead Emergency Planner for the City of Tampa and has worked in the field of Emergency Management since 2009, with prior experience including Seminole County, City of Cape Coral, and the Walt Disney World Resort.

In his current role he is responsible for the development of emergency plans and managing the volunteers of the Tampa Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). By engaging with private, public, and non-profit agencies he seeks to utilize the full capacity of local resources to prepare, respond, and recover from emergencies. Using this “Whole Community” approach to Emergency Management, these efforts help to build and reinforce a more disaster resilient City of Tampa.

With the support of skilled and dedicated team members, he has also organized and deployed volunteers to assist with recovery efforts across the State of Florida. These efforts include Hurricanes Irma, Michael, Idalia, Helene, and Milton.
