Accessibility

MBCC offers accessible parking, sidewalk ramps, restrooms, and elevators. New ramps have recently been installed on the Northeast entrance driveway, accessible via Washington Avenue. The Northeast entrance is the closest entrance to the Grand Ballroom. Entrance doors to the building are equipped with automatic ADA functionality. ADA compliant tables are utilised to accommodate food buffet stations.

Attendee List

Fortem International will never sell or share our visitor data list. Some firms contact exhibitors claiming to either work with us or to pose as us saying they have the visitor list with full contact details and offer to sell it to you. Please be aware that this is a scam that consists of useless made up records (and if any of it was reliable it would be illegal to use).

Please be aware that it is possible you will be contacted by a variety of companies claiming to have access to our attendee data or will claim to be one of our suppliers of the event. These are scams and use our logo and event name to make it look legit. Our list of approved suppliers are featured on the exhibitor portal, however, If you have any queries about an inbound inquiry regarding anything to do with the exhibition, please contact your Customer Service Manager who will verify their legitimacy. Please be assured that we do not sell or distribute your data. Please understand that we are doing everything in our power to prevent situations like these from occurring.

Business Services

The MBCC provides a Business Service Center for use by exhibitors and attendees featuring photocopy, fax, self typing work stations, and fully trained clerical staff.

Catering

The Catering provider for MBCC is Sodexo. The Catering brochure will be available under the ‘Show Exclusive Suppliers’ page.

Daycare

MBCC does not provide childcare services. There are multiple nearby childcare centres to choose from. Please note, children are not permitted on the show floor

Disabled Parking

Disabled parking spots are located on the rooftop of the parking garage of the MBCC. Valet parking services are available from First Class Parking Systems

Electricity

Electricity is not included in your package. To order, please contact EDDHelms through the ‘Show Exclusive Suppliers’ page.

Exhibitor Badges

Your Exhibitor badges can be collected from the exhibitor registration desk just inside the hall during build up and show days. There is no cost for exhibitor badges and there is no limit on how many you can request, but please bear in mind the size of your stand.

Exhibitor Insurance

ALL contractors and space only stands MUST hold valid Public & Products Liability Insurance, which covers them and indemnifies for all activity involving stand construction, operation and deconstruction, at the event and in the country to which this information pertains.

First Aid

You can approach any of the MBCC team, who can help you with a medical emergency. Alternatively, please speak to a member of show management who can contact the necessary people.

Food Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

All Sodexo Menus will have dietary restriction identifiers such as Gluten Free, Dairy Free ETC.

Food & Beverage Sampling

Sampling of Food and Beverages is only permitted during exhibitions where they form an essential part of the event, the company exhibiting is the manufacturer of the product and it is instrumental to promoting the main product. If you wish to provide any snacks from your booth, this will need to be ordered via the onsite caterers at the Miami Beach Convention Centre. Please note that sampling will not be permitted without prior notification.

Hazardous Materials

Hazardous Materials, such as Propane are not compliant with venue regulations, meaning they are prohibited.

Internet & WIFI

Free WiFi will be available in the lobby area. If your exhibiting plan requires continuous uninterrupted connection, we recommend that you purchase WiFi through SmartCity, the official provider. Please head to the ‘Show Exclusive Suppliers’ page to proceed with your order.

Lost Property

If your property was lost whilst on the show floor, speak to a member of security, or head to the Show Management Office. All lost and found items are logged, and held in the MBCC Security Office.

Mobility Scooters

A limited number of mobility scooters are available for hire at the Concierge Desk at MBCC.

Parking

Security

Show security guards will be on duty 24 hours a day from move in to move out. However, show security should not be relied upon to provide more than a presence to inhibit theft. As an additional safeguard, exhibitors may hire security service to provide exclusive security for their booth. Check with your insurance provider for information on an inexpensive Show Exhibiting Insurance Rider.

Service Animals

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), service animals are trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. Emotional support animals are often used as part of a medical treatment plan (i.e. therapy animals), they are not considered service animals under the ADA. Emotional support animals are permitted within the non-leased spaces and may be restricted by Lessee in contracted spaces. Animals approved to be on the premises must meet the following confinement guidelines:

1. Animal(s) must be on a leash at all times.
2. Animal(s) must be under constant control at all times.
3. Animal exhibits are not permitted on carpeted spaces.
4. The owner or handler will be fully responsible for their animal(s) & relief area.

Shipping, Deliveries & Material Handling

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited inside the venue as per US Law. Designated Smoking areas are available in the outdoor areas of MBCC.

Weapons

No individual may be eligible to carry a weapon into the Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC), with the exception of sworn law enforcement officers possessing full-time, active duty status with a law enforcement agency that has jurisdiction within the City of Miami Beach, and who possesses the requisite certifications.

Wheelchairs

Wheelchairs are available for no fee, on a first-come, first-served basis at the Miami Beach Convention Center Concierge Desk (located in the Grand Lobby on the west side of the building). Wheelchairs can be checked out in exchange for a valid ID; the ID will be returned when the wheelchair is returned.
