Early flood warning systems play an increasingly pivotal role in real-time response, and arguably long-term resilience. We present case studies where a seasoned monitoring network combined with cutting-edge data analytics helps dispatchers detect urban flooding and anticipate peak flood levels using predictive modeling. We share how community leaders and members alike have adopted these tools to minimize the impacts of flooding, from debris jams along the rivers to flooded underpasses and facilities.
