Dr. Margaret (Maggi) Glasscoe is a Research Associate at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) and a contractor at the Marshall Space Flight Center. She has been working with the NASA Disasters Program since 2019. Her work with the Disasters Program helps to facilitate the delivery of value-added NASA data and products to end users in the event of a disaster. Her research focuses on developing multi-hazard decision support tools and studying earthquake processes. She has been the lead of a flood early warning project since 2019. She received her MS and PhD in Geology with an emphasis in Geophysics from the University of California, Davis and her BS in Geological Sciences and BA in Print Journalism from the University of Southern California. Prior to moving to UAH, Dr. Glasscoe worked at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory for 20 years.
